The International Conference on Intelligent Computing and Data Mining (ICDM 2024) 

has successfully concluded!

On September 21, 2024, the first International Conference on Intelligent Computing and Data Mining (ICDM 2024) was successfully held in Chaozhou, Guangdong Province, a historic and cultural city renowned for its "Chaozhou Kiln Culture". This grand event is hosted by Hanshan Normal University and the National Key Science and Technology Infrastructure Future Network Peking University Innovation Center; Undertaken by the Intelligent Manufacturing Industry College, Intelligent Manufacturing and Industrial Digitalization Collaborative Innovation Center, Software and Intelligent IoT Industry College, Guangdong Small and Medium sized Enterprise Big Data and Intelligent Engineering Technology Research Center, and Key Laboratory of Data Science and Smart Education; Co organized by Guangdong Normal University of Technology, Neusoft Education Technology Group Co., Ltd., Beijing Zhongsoft International Education Technology Co., Ltd., and Lifeng Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd; And it has received strong support from the Internet of Things and Network Professional Committee of Guangdong Computer Society, Chaozhou Computer Society, Guangdong Computer Society (Hanshan Normal University) Science and Technology Service Station, and the School Enterprise Collaborative Innovation Center for the Big Health Industry.

ICDM 2024 has attracted top scholars and industry leaders from computer related fields. In this crisp autumn season, this conference has become an exciting platform for experts and scholars from different regions to discuss and exchange the latest research results and future developments in intelligent computing and data mining.

The conference specially invited three outstanding academic leaders to give keynote speeches, providing valuable insights on the latest research trends and technological developments for the attendees. Professor LinChen from Sun Yat sen University, Professor Haijun Zhang from Harbin Institute of Technology, and Professor Hua Li from Peking University Graduate School shared their latest research achievements in artificial intelligence, intelligent computing, and data mining, sparking a widespread discussion among attendees on trust and transparency issues.

In addition to academic reports, insights from the business world are equally fascinating. Lejie, a teacher from Neusoft Education Technology Group Co., Ltd., and representatives from Beijing Zhongsoft International Education Technology Co., Ltd. respectively brought wonderful invited presentations, bringing us valuable industry experience sharing. The entire conference was held in a lively academic atmosphere, with both formal speeches and relaxed conversations during tea breaks, and the interaction between participants showed a vigorous enthusiasm for communication. Everyone spoke freely, not only deeply discussing the current situation and future development of their respective fields, but also showing great interest in cross disciplinary cooperation.
